Position - Ruby on Rails senior developer.

I've been using Rails since 2007. My first project is gorodpenza.ru. It was made on a version of Rails 1.2.5. Client side was implemented using Prototype, Google Maps API. The project is still running. After that I have made a number of projects on Rails.

My recent projects on Rails:

• dayday.co.il - online store.
  Ruby on Rails 3, jQuery, MySQL. Libraries: inherited_resources, haml, paperclip, devise, simple_form. I wrote a couple of small libraries to connect to the payment service and the accounting service.
  November 2010,
  Integration with Twitter, Facebook and MailChimp.
• EnglishWorld - english language training service. The site is made with elements of social networking and online games. Service is not released now.
  March - December 2010,
  Ruby on Rails 3, jQuery, Postgresql, MongoDB, HTML5. Libraries: inherited_resources, haml, paperclip, authlogic, mongo_mapper, delayed_job, rspec, formtastic.
• Clipit Videos - website for a company creating video clips.
  July - September 2010,
  Ruby on Rails 3, jQuery, Mysql. Libraries: haml, formtastic, authlogic, paperclip, inherited_resources, oauth2, pdfkit.

Experience in developing Web Applications:
I've been in programming since 1999.
In web applications development since 2001. I begun to work with php, then used C#/.Net. For over 3 years I have been using a Ruby on Rails. In 2007 I spoke at the conference SECon 2007, the theme of my speech was a "Web applications with Ruby on Rails". I have strong mathematical background. I know how to deal with server and client optimization, including optimization of the database. I have a good understanding of CSS for modern browsers.

Experience in System Administration:

• working with Linux since 2005
• setup server from scratch, OS Ubuntu, Fedora, setup dns, routing, firewall and other services.
• full Rails stack: Nginx, Apache, Mongrel, Passenger, Ruby EE, Capistrano etc.
• bash shell scripting

Now I work remotely as a Ruby on Rails developer in a company devmen.com.

Recently began to participate in opensource project FreeRelic.
